- AUDREY PETERKIN COTTONAn American variety with smooth black seeds. The plant produces medium size bolls, not clustered, and not very early maturing. Lint production 34 to 36 per cent. The staple is about 15/16-in, to 1-in. This cotton is one of the best of the Rio Grande type and one of the largest producers of lint. (Also known as Peterkin, Brazier Peterkin, Crossland, Texas Wood and Wise)
